The Pioneer AVH-521EX DVD receiver features an interface to place your favorite sources on the home screen. Choose from five stills or two video backgrounds plus a slew of display and control colors to fine-tune the look. WebLink compatibility gives access to several apps, like navigation and weather, to your screen with the aid of your phone. Bluetooth adds a wireless convenience — like hands-free calling and easy wireless access to the media on your smartphone. For iPhone users, the AVH-521EX supports SiriEyes Free when in the car. Touch a button to listen and send text messages, place calls, and ask questions, all without taking my eyes off the road. The AVH-521EX covers the bases with CD and DVD playback, an aux input, plus Android and iPhone control via USB. You can get a video fix by watching DVDs when the parking brake is engaged or send the video output to optional rear-seat screens to entertain your passengers on those long road trips. Add a rear-view camera and you'll get a better view in crowded parking lots or backing out of your garage. With select rear-view cameras, you'll even get parking guidelines that curve with the motion of your steering wheel. The AVH-521EX has a powerful amplifier, supported by a versatile 13-band equalizer that smooths the rough spots in your car's acoustics.
